Once upon a time, there was a kind woman named Ruth. Ruth had lost her husband, and she was very sad. But she loved her mother-in-law, Naomi, very much. Together, they went to a new town called Bethlehem.
Ruth wanted to find food to help Naomi and herself. She went to a big field where people were gathering grain. The sun was shining bright, and the grain looked like little golden stars dancing in the wind.
In the field, Ruth met a man named Boaz. Boaz was a good man who cared about others. When he saw Ruth, he smiled warmly. “Come and gather grain among my workers,” he said kindly. Ruth felt happy and safe.
Boaz told his workers to be gentle with Ruth. She was working hard to help her family. Boaz said, “Don’t bother her. Help her if you can.” The workers listened because Boaz was a man who loved to do what was right.
After a long day, Ruth told Naomi about Boaz’s kindness. Naomi smiled and said, “Boaz is a good man. He will take care of you.” Ruth felt hope in her heart. She knew God was watching over them.
One evening, Naomi gave Ruth a special plan. They went to the field at night, where Boaz was resting. Ruth was a little scared but brave too. She quietly asked Boaz for help. Boaz was happy to protect her.
Boaz said, “I will take care of you and your family.” His words were like warm sunshine on a cold day. Ruth felt safe and loved. She knew God’s kindness was all around her.
Boaz and Ruth got married. They became a family full of love and joy. God’s kindness helped them through hard times. Their story shows us how God takes care of those who trust Him.
The light of God’s love is like a bright star shining in the dark night. Just like Boaz helped Ruth, God helps us every day with kindness and love.

3 So she went, and came and gleaned in the field after the reapers. She happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech.
4 Behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem and said to the reapers, “The Lord be with you!” They answered him, “The Lord bless you!”
5 Then Boaz said to his servant who was in charge of the reapers, “Whose young woman is this?”
6 The servant who was in charge of the reapers answered and said, “She is the young Moabite woman who came back with Naomi from the country of Moab.
7 She said, ‘Please let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves.’ So she came and has continued from early morning until now, except for a short rest.”
