Once upon a time, in a faraway land, some wise men saw a bright star shining in the sky. This star was not like any other star. It was shining so beautifully, like a big, glowing lantern in the dark night. The wise men were very curious. They asked, “What does this special star mean?”
The wise men were very smart and loved to learn about the stars. They believed that this shining star was a sign from God. It was telling them that a new king was born! They wanted to find this king and bring him gifts. So, they packed their bags and started their long journey.
The journey was not easy. The road was dusty and the sun was hot. Sometimes, the night was cold and the stars twinkled like tiny diamonds. But the wise men kept looking at the bright star. It was like a glowing friend guiding them through the dark.
After many days, the star stopped over a little town called Bethlehem. The wise men were so happy! They knew they had found the right place. They went inside a small house and saw a baby lying in a manger. A manger is a feeding box for animals, but this baby was special—He was the King!
The wise men bowed down and said, “We have come to worship you, King Jesus.” They gave Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Gold is a precious treasure, frankincense is a sweet-smelling perfume, and myrrh is a special oil. These gifts showed how much they loved and respected Jesus.
Mary, the baby’s mother, smiled softly. Joseph, His father, looked happy and peaceful. The baby Jesus was calm and full of love. The wise men felt joy in their hearts. They knew Jesus was the promised King who would bring light and hope to the world.
But then, the wise men remembered something very important. An angel had told them not to go back to the king who wanted to hurt Jesus. So, they took a different way home, keeping Jesus safe with their prayers and love.
The story of the wise men shows us how God sends light into the world. Just like the star guided the wise men, God guides us too. We can follow His light and bring love to others, just like the wise men did.

When King Herod heard this, he was very troubled, and all Jerusalem was troubled with him. He called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law. He asked them, “Where is the Messiah supposed to be born?”
They answered, “In Bethlehem of Judea, because this is what the prophet wrote: ‘You, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are not the least among the rulers of Judah. From you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.’”
Then Herod secretly called the wise men and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. He sent them to Bethlehem and
