Once upon a time, a beautiful girl named Esther lived in a big kingdom called Persia. She was kind and brave. Esther did not tell anyone that she was Jewish because she was afraid.
One day, the king of Persia wanted a new queen. Many girls were brought to the palace to meet him. Esther was one of them. She was chosen to be the queen because she was lovely and had a kind heart.
But something very sad happened. A mean man named Haman did not like Esther’s people, the Jews. He made a plan to hurt them. This made Esther very worried. She loved her people and wanted to help them.
Esther’s cousin, Mordecai, told her, “You must tell the king about Haman’s plan. You might be the only one who can save us!” Esther was scared. She knew that going to the king without being called could be dangerous.
She prayed to God and said, “Please help me be brave. I want to save my people.” Then she made a plan. Esther invited the king and Haman to a special dinner.
At the dinner, Esther was very brave. She told the king, “There is a bad man named Haman who wants to hurt my people.” The king was surprised and very angry with Haman.
Because Esther was brave and told the truth, the king stopped Haman’s plan. The Jewish people were safe! They were very happy and thanked God for helping them.
Esther showed great courage and love. She trusted God, and God used her to save her people. The light of hope shined bright like the morning sun, and everyone celebrated with joy.
